How to Turn Off Ads in uTorrent

 uTorrent is a great app, but the ads on desktop versions can be bothersome. Luckily, you can disable them in the Advanced settings.

To remove ads and offers, go to Options > Preferences > Advanced. There, you'll see a list of flags and a filter box. Search for and disable these flags:

  • offers.left_rail_offer_enabled/left_rail_offer
  • gui.show_plus_upsell
  • offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled/sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
  • bt.enable_pulse
  • gui.show_notorrents_node
  • offers.content_offer_autoexec

The names of these flags might vary slightly depending on your app version. Be cautious when making changes if you're unsure about their functions.
